Country of Origin: Originates from India. Extracted through steam distillation of root.
Description: A spicy-woody aroma, similar to the powdered spice used in Eastern cuisine, with an even more vibrant flavor. Used in aromatherapy for relaxing, stimulating, and balancing properties. Excellent for exotic or fantastical aromas. Turmeric can lend a very distinct softness and roundness to a spicy blend.
Suggestions: Excellent with ginger, ylang ylang, clary sage, and other spicy oils.
