-
Limit foods with dyes as some children may be sensitive.

Emotional Shock Found to Trigger Serious Illnesses

Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer discovered that every disease originates from a "conflict shock" such as the loss of a loved one. Emotional shock not only occurs in our psyche, but impacts specific areas of the brain which are visible on brain scans.
40,000 case studies have established that the area of the brain impacted from emotional shock impacts the corresponding organ or tissue from the affected brain area.
For example, if a mother receives shocking news that her child has been in an accident, the emotional centers of the brain impacted usually correspond to the breast glands. Dr. Hamer's theory and treatment, named German New Medicine or GNM focuses on the person resolving internal emotional conflicts so the body can heal.
For emotional shock or grief, I recommend Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT to rid negative thought patterns and emotions. Bach's Rescue Remedy is also helpful. All of these remedies redirect the body's energy or release negative emotions.
Sometimes as Christians, we hesitate to seek emotional help because there is the belief out there that if we had enough faith, or the Holy Spirit, then all of our trials, troubles, emotional imbalances, would just fade away. In reality, virtually all of the people in the Bible had stories of human struggles: pain, emotions which ran wild causing sin and destruction in their lives.
They turned to God for forgiveness, redemption, and correction. Being physically and emotionally healthy allows us to be closer to God, serve our family and church as we're not distracted by physical pain or emotional hurts.
Basically, EFT is a short cut--a way to redirect the body's emotional energy out of negative patterns. For example, a few years ago I found out something disturbing regarding the health of my Mother. I did my best not to think about it, but it seemed that even though I did not want to obsess about it, the emotions and thoughts took on a "life of their own." It felt as if my brain and body were in some sort of an electrical loop, and I couldn't break free of the obsessive thoughts and negative emotions. Searching, I learned about EFT, applied it, and in about 10 minutes, the emotional intensity was gone! EFT helped me save my energy for something productive than obsessive worry. It was free and painless.
EFT does not replace prayer, faith or the Holy Spirit. It is a method to clear the physical body of negativity so we are more open to receive the Holy Spirit and grow in Christ.
